Sylvia James George is a highly accomplished, classically trained master fine artist who paints commissioned portraits and paintings from sittings, photos and composites. Sylvia is an artist in residence at SJG Art Studio & Gallery in Historic Savage Mill, in Savage, MD. She paints formal, corporate, bridal, children, couples, groups, pets, homes, landscapes and seascapes. Her clientel comes not only from the Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania Mid-Atlantic region but also from across the USA and overseas. Her paintings hang all over the world, including England, Belgium, Japan, Africa and Bermuda. Sylvia takes great joy in capturing personalities on canvas, and specializes in creating instant heirlooms for future generations to treasure.
